Large amount of inaccurate information
editMany things need to be changed on this page due to inaccurate or outdated material.
Toll Brothers' 2007 revenue totaled 4.65 billion, and the employee count in 2007 was 4,329. The company builds 7,000 homes annually, not 8,000. Toll Brothers has about 400 communities, not 300. The company builds in 22 states, not 24. New Hampshire and Missouri have appeared on the wikipedia list but Toll Brothers has never built in those states.
I tried to edit the page to make it accurate, but changes have been reverted. Can anyone help to make this page accurate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.210.95.146 (talk) 19:44, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Suggested External Link
editThought Wikinvest:Toll Brothers would be a good addition to the external links section. Also, some of the existing external links are a little spammey -- each one tries to sell you a different Toll Brothers condo development.

- I like it, I'm going to add as an external link and include some of the stuff about closing prices. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.175.196.230 (talk) 02:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
How would one edit the revenue history on this page? I see that the revenue information is outdated - (2005) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.110.117 (talk) 04:50, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
How are those links spammy? Shouldn't the company have information regarding their communities? As well as a few links to their developments? That is what people are looking for here 1) investment info and 2) info on the houses they build —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.110.117 (talk) 04:53, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
The author of this article does seem to spend at least half of the total text blasting the company for the CEO's critical comments about Hillary Clinton and her supporters, even putting forth opinions about women boycotting the company. The article needs to edited for accuracy, as the page does contain numerous errors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gcm1991 (talk • contribs) 20:50, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Updated Markets
editRemoved Rhode Island from the market as Toll is no longer building there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.150.11.25 (talk) 14:30, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

- User blocked for legal threats. --NeilN talk to me 16:20, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- Nor could anyone be legitimately confused or believe that our article is in any way sponsored by Toll Brothers. This is a boilerplate demand. I suspect it is an attempt to suppress criticism, or a simple knee-jerk over-reaction to any use of their trademark by others, however legit that use may be. Block is proper. - The IP address is in Zaventem, Belgium, so it's not from a U.S. lawyer at all. It could be from someone with a grudge against Toll Brothers, trying to discredit them. I wonder if the WP blocking policy applies to fake legal threats? Maproom (talk) 17:38, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- And 109.202.157.221, who briefly restored the "legal warning" to the article itself, is in Copenhagen, Denmark. Maproom (talk) 15:03, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

- I would say that if a user was though to be making fake legal threats then it could be considered an act of vandalism. A user known to be engage in this type of activity is most likely not someone who is planning on making legitimate contributions here.--174.93.163.194 (talk) 01:19, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- Legitimate or not, something sounding like a threat was added into the article and should have been reverted immediately. At least on the talk page, it would not be considered vandalism—just a legal threat. 67.220.154.178 (talk) 20:24, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

- I think I'd agree with 174.93.163.194 - if they're making genuine legal threats, then the block is valid for NLT, and if they are posting legal threats with no intention of any legal threat, then it's disruptive editing, and a block is valid for that - especially as the addition was made to both talk page and article space. There seems no intention to improve the article there. Chaheel Riens (talk) 23:01, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
