Chiswick Chap I don't think the cited source supports the "In most film and radio adaptations of the story.." part in the Adaptations sections. If there is no source, I'd suggest changing this to something like "In some.." (even though that's less interesting). Everything else looks good to go. • Lead: "which also included Goldberry, Old Man Willow and the Barrow-wight. They were not then explicitly part of the older legends that became The Silmarillion, and are not mentioned in The Hobbit." - This feels to me like it will be meaningful to Tolkien fans but not so much to the general reader. I know the article covers this below, but consider either omitting this line or providing a little more context within the lead.

Good idea. Added glosses for each of these characters.

• Appearances: Para beginning "Bombadil Goes Boating.." - Can a secondary source be added? Otherwise it looks a bit like like WP:OR. I did a quick search on Google Books and found a possibility. The same applies to other places where only the Tolkien fictional sources are cited.

Added. Where the text is just describing appearances in Tolkien's writings, the primary references are of course appropriate.

• Appearances: "the Norse lay of Ótr" - I wasn't familiar with "lay" in this sense. Can this be linked, explained or reworded? (Maybe linked to the article Lai (poetic form)?)

• Adaptations (and lead): is there a source for "In most film and radio adaptations of the story, Bombadil is notable by his absence"?; "notable by his absence" - I'm not sure this is true for people unfamiliar with the books. Maybe "absent"?

• Adaptations: "Bombadil has appeared in a number of other adaptations, including the Mind's Eye radio adaptation." It has already been mentioned he appears in the Mind's Eye adaptation, so perhaps "adaptations apart from" rather than "other adaptations, including"?
