Actual Authors
editI was wondering if other people thought that the table should include the actual authors of the books, since they were only created by Tom Clancy and Steve Pieczenik. I have most of the books and I could add authors and whatever other information i find in the books if people thought that was a good idea. Thecheesinator (talk) 23:15, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Excerpts
editJust wondering if inserting an excerpt from the book is allowed? I didn't write this article, but I was wondering. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.22.79.228 (talk) 02:31, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Survey
edit- Comment This was originally requested uncontroversial move which Anthony Appleyard converted to this discussion here. 70.29.209.121 (talk) 09:39, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose all. The inclusion of Clancy's name seems to me to be a marketing exercise, rather than part of the novel's title as most would understand it. I do however feel that Wikipedia:Naming conventions (books) isn't helpful on this particular matter, and could perhaps do with some work. Andrewa (talk) 15:33, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Comment many of the Tom Clancy franchise books articles already have "Tom Clancy" in the article titles. 70.29.209.121 (talk) 03:54, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- Detailed reply elsewhere. Two wrongs don't make a right. Andrewa (talk) 14:35, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

- Comment the parent series is called Tom Clancy's Net Force, the related series is called Tom Clancy's Op-Center, the other Tom Clancy franchise series are called Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. 76.66.202.108 (talk) 20:29, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- Support "Tomc Clancy's" is part of the book name itself. TJ Spyke 19:41, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
