Sorry it's taking me this long to get to this, wound up being way busier than I thought I would be.
- "Having served for four years in the senior cadets" - what exactly was the senior cadets? Is this a pre-military school, a local militia group, or something else?
- In 1911, universal service for boys 12 to 18 (and adults to 26) was introduced in Australia, it continued until 1929. The senior cadets were the older ones (14-18). Linked to Conscription in Australia#Universal Service Scheme. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 10:25, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
