Excessive citation in the lead
editHaving eight references strung together at the end of the lead paragraph looks like a case of excessive citing. Two or maybe three at most should be sufficient to support a statement. Either reduce the total number or else distribute them within the paragraph if so many are really needed to support all the statements in the paragraph.
In any case the lead should never contain any information that is not repeated elsewhere in the article, so technically cites should not really be necessary in the lead at all. Roger (talk) 17:05, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
