It is not a fringe theory that Essad Bey is not the core author of Ali and Nino. Furthermore, this article quotes a number of articles reviewing Reiss's Orientalist and they simply quote his conclusions that Essad Bey as Kurban Said wrote Ali and Nino. These articles such as Guardian etc are not presenting anything new, but simply repeating what Reiss says. So reference from Reiss's book Orientalist should be quoted - not the numerous articles that are simply regurgitating his material. They are merely summarizing his findings, not offering their own.
