Note: words in red means they haven't been described, not being a professional on Tom Tom Club, I can't really defined the songs.. But I added a rhapsody playlist, if you have www.listen.com, it's about 10 dollars a month, and you get access to a huge music store with lots of LP's.. BTW, I found Dr. Jeckly and MR. Hyde on Rhapsody, but they are only available for listening (that means you play their radio). Grandmaster Flash has an album on Rhapsody too.

Info about useage of tracks?

edit

The Tom Tom Club track Time To Bounce was used as the opening theme to the German cop show Bronski and Bernstein. Should this be included as trivia or similar?

A question

edit

Does anybody know why the name Tom Tom Club? Infrasonik 04:06, 23 August 2007 (UTC) i have no idea why the name was used. though it does make sense. i'm sure tina weymouth and chris franz have an interest in african percussion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonbecker03 (talkcontribs) 20:27, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Think it was after the dance hall in the Bahamas where they rehearsed for the first time after going on hiatus from Talking Heads

Wordy Rappinghood

Here is a short but interesting documentary about the Wordy Rappinghood. Maybe someone cares to make an article out of it? http://player.omroep.nl/?aflID=11980501 My English isn't good enough. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.176.234.128 (talk) 08:19, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

this is also not printed in the R&B albums from Joel Whitburn's Top R&B albums 1965-1998..... thx Jim — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.213.133.145 (talk) 05:40, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

1990 Tour

edit

I will leave this to someone else (or to me at a later date) to dig up encyclopedic sources and restructure the article— but I will say here that circa 1990, Frantz & Weymouth toured extensively as Tom Tom Club along with former Talking Heads bandmate Jerry Harrison. This version of Tom Tom Club performed a few of Harrison's solo songs along with the expected Tom Tom Club and Talking Heads numbers. Harrison had a new album out at the time, but Tom Tom Club's most recent album would have been a couple of years old by then. Timothy Horrigan (talk) 23:02, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
