– There doesn't seem to be a primary topic for 'Tomorrowland'. According to pageviews, Tomorrowland (film) seems to be the most popular page for 'Tomorrowland', but Tomorrowland (festival), especially in more recent years seems to be nearly equal in pageviews, while Tomorrowland, the current page which has that name and is a Disney themed zone, seems to be have much less views than either of them. According to Google, "Tomorrowland festival" (16.100.000), "Tomorrowland film" (14.600.000) and "Tomorrowland movie" (18.000.000) are roughly equal in hits, but "Tomorrowland disneyland" (3.030.000) has much fewer hits. As there is no clear primary topic for 'Tomorrowland', I propose the disambiguation page is moved to Tomorrowland. Civciv5 (talk) 02:01, 1 January 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. - Support – the page view statistics are quite clear that there is no primary topic. Bradv🍁 06:36, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose - The status quo reflects that many of the items on the disambiguation page take their names from the original theme park attraction area. This to me represents that the park area is primary topic based on long-term significance. Actual page views are much closer than implied by the proposer (and using Google hit numbers is fraught with unintentional bias and misinterpretation and should never be used in this way). Because no stats are conclusive, I believe the long-term significance angle must win out here. It also solves a problem with the incomplete proposed disambiguator, as I've described below. -- Netoholic @ 12:32, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose for now - the film is basically a film adaptation of the Disney attraction, and is therefore more of a subtopic to it (counting towards its popularity) than a topic ambiguous to it. bd2412 T 13:35, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- Neutral (currently) on this, however per the discussion bellow - (Disney) is an WP:INCDAB, as the film and the theme park both belong to Disney. --Gonnym (talk) 18:22, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, the theme park is the primary topic with respect to long-term significance. -- Wikipedical (talk) 05:31, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Theme park is primary by long-term significance. Randy Kryn (talk) 04:26, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
- Support that there is no primary topic here but (Disney) does not suffice, as previously stated, this could equally refer to the film. I personally propose "Tomorrowland (theme park)" though I see that there is a discussion below Lazz_R 00:48, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose The theme park is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The film is based on the theme park.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 11:10, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Support the first move. There is clearly no primary topic. The festival gets nearly as many page views as the film over the long term and is not based on anything related to Disney. A better disambiguator is needed for the theme park article. Dekimasuよ! 20:50, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- The proposed disambiguation is very unclear as there are several items of intellectual property, such as the film, which fall broadly under "Disney". We should be more clear. I was thinking the best would be (Disney land), but (Disney park) or (Disney attraction) may be alternatives, but based on the description, the hierarchy of Disney destinations goes: theme park > theme land > attraction/ride (for example Disneyland > Tomorrowland > Space Mountain). I oppose any move per my vote above, but if it must move, we should use a better disambiguation. -- Netoholic @ 12:32, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- You have a point, perhaps Tomorrowland (Disneyland) would be a better target page? Civciv5 (talk) 18:47, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- "Tomorrowland (Disneyland)" is a bad choice as Disneyland isn't the only park Tomorrowland is located at. Either "Tomorrowland (theme land)" or "Tomorrowland (Disney theme land)" should work. --Gonnym (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- "Tomorrowland (themed zone)" seems like a better choice than Tomorrowland (theme land).Civciv5 (talk) 17:52, 7 January 2019 (UTC)

- My guess is that Tomorrowland Co. is also notable, though we don't seem to have an article on it now. Dekimasuよ! 20:18, 7 January 2019 (UTC)

– Last discussed in 2019. Today in 2023, the article about the theme park attraction is still getting a fraction of the pageviews of Tomorrowland (festival) and Tomorrowland (film). There's also no evidence that its long-term notability is higher than that of the other two. Per WP:NOPRIMARY, the dabpage should be at the base name. Note that Category:Tomorrowland should also be moved along with the article. 162 etc. (talk) 04:41, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. There are eleven entries listed upon the Tomorrowland (disambiguation) page, with no clear indication that the name of the Disney Parks attraction has such overwhelming recognition that it dwarfs the combined renown of the remaining ten entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:11, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support move per nom. There is no obvious primary topic. O.N.R. (talk) 19:21, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom, although it may necessitate an alternate move to Tomorrowland (attraction). ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 20:55, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Tomorrowland shows the film and the festival at the top of the list of outgoing destinations, with a total of 764 identified clickstreams, while there was a total of 5k outgoing views and 10.4k incoming views. This is far from conclusive, but it's certainly suspect, we should try the change and check the stats later to see if navigation outcomes have improved or not. --Joy (talk) 15:10, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
