Name
editThis article as first written named him as "Anthony Alan Ackerman". This was changed by @Simon nelson: to Tony Charles George Ackerman, in this edit, citing a book.
The ENFA database lists him as AA(Tony) Ackerman.
I can see Anthony/Tony being the same name but for the other names to go from "Alan" to "Charles George" is unusual.
Has anyone got any reliable source confirming the name? For the moment I'll put the old version back in as an alternative. PamD 22:45, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- FWIW, User:Simon nelson and User:Nfc123 are the same person renamed, so he obviously decided he preferred the Hugman book source. Birth records support Tony CG, but people use names other than their registered birth name for all sorts of reasons, so it's far from definitive (and I know we can't use primary sources for BLPs anyway). I've put it back to Tony CG, with a visible note about ENFA, and hidden notes directing editors here. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 13:09, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
