There seems to have been a misunderstanding; this is not a duplicative article, and it is not created to individually cover the subjects of the fictional characters Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, which already have their own articles. This new article is a split that I first discussed creating on June 7. I explained the reasoning here and here, and no one objected. Please remove the speedy deletion tag. --1ST7 (talk) 05:26, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

There was no consensus reached at either discussion, so, no, I won't be removing the CSD. If it is denied, I will nominate it for AfD so the discussion that never happened can happen. The only comment on either discussion was someone saying there is no precedent for it. If you know of one, please speak up. That is a very long way from a consensus. There are numerous long term love affairs in the history of TV. The fact that there are no articles on any of them tells me that you are wrong in creating this article. There is no misunderstanding whatsoever. Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:44, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Actually, there are a number of similar articles. Lucky Spencer and Elizabeth Webber and JR Chandler and Babe Carey are two examples. The instruction manual for splitting says that editors can be bold when making a split and do not need to open a discussion, but I did to be sure there weren't any objections before going forward with the split. --1ST7 (talk) 15:46, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... It's very true and should not be deleted. --216.155.211.46 (talk) 06:43, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ziva's death

edit

There's nothing "presumed" about Ziva's death. It's explicitly stated (9:30 into episode: Tony:"Cause we don't assume, we verify....Do we know she's dead?" Gibbs:"Yeah, she's dead, and we will get Kort." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zooks527 (talkcontribs) 17:55, 3 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Again, reverting the edit on "assumed" death and on no body found, those took place in teh 2nd-to-last episode. The season finale explicitly confirmed that she was dead. See the episode (transcript here:http://transcripts.foreverdreaming.org/viewtopic.php?f=193&t=27252) at approximately 9:30 -

DiNozzo: What do we know? What are the facts? 'Cause we don't assume, we verify. Do we know she's dead? 'Cause if we know she's dead, we're gonna get him.
Gibbs:Yeah, she's dead, and we will get Kort.

Get over it. She's dead. Zooks527 (talk) 16:35, 5 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

"[H]er remains are not found at the house" as a final resolution is unsourced. That's from the 2nd to last episode, which functioned as a hook to the last episode. The last episode left no doubt she was dead, and did not address any "missing" remains. Zooks527 (talk) 00:20, 7 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
