My reasons for giving this article a PROD:
1. The museum claims to be notable for being the third of its kind. However, being the third of something is not, itself, notable.
2. The museum has hosted notable events and programs, but hosting notable things does not convey notability.
3. It's director and staff are non-notable (having a notable employee may have helped, but it doesn't apply in this case).
4. The article was created and heavily edited by someone affiliated with the museum itself, making all the claims in the article highly suspect and possibly a vanity article.
