Relevancy?
editThe fact that Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz insisted on being addressed as "Mr. Mendlowitz" is certainly of significant interest in and of itself. But how is it relevant to this article, really? Overall, I cannot say I come away from reading this article with an impression that it is written with a high degree of professionalism. The preceding is just one example. Is there a political angle to Torah Umesorah?
editIs there a political angle to Torah Umesorah?
It happens that T.U. held a 2022 annual confab at a Trump resort, and received a keynote address from Trump himself.[1] That is a political statement. Which makes me wonder if there is a political angle to Torah Umesorah which is not reflected in this article, but perhaps should be included. I'm not sure where I would look for sourcing, however. -- M.boli (talk) 22:14, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
- They generally do not participate in politics. It seems they were pressured into allowing Trump to speak. Bochuryz (talk) 21:54, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
- The only political thing I can remember is the letter sent to the NY board of Regents in response to proposed regulation of private schools, which they co-signed on with the Agudah.
