January 11

edit

Is the January 11 event notable enough for a section? It would leave January blank, though it appears that a significant tornado struck Argentina on January 3. That could be included, but I cannot seem to find a reliable source in English. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:15, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Since it was the only U.S. event in January, I think it is notable enough to stay. If a source can be found for the Argentina tornado then that would be good to add as well. United States Man (talk) 15:18, 24 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Remarkable tornado event unfolding in NE right now. Lost count of how many wedges have been shown live on TWC. Reports of catastrophic damage are starting to filter in from Pilger, NE. Likely going to need a page soon. Sharkguy05 (talk) 21:56, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Sharkguy05Reply

Does this require a section?

No. That is actually a long way from a section, unless there are more from another NWS office. United States Man (talk) 18:46, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Lack of updates

edit

This page needs some updates - the US map with locations of fatalities is missing deaths 43-45, the October 13 section no longer exists, but should as the day produced 35 tornadoes, the 3rd highest number for one day this year, and there is nothing about the Nov. 23 possible 118 mile EF2 tornado in Alabama and Georgia. Individual listings for tornadoes by month also seem to stop after July.

Death toll discrepancy

edit

Why are the three deaths from the Cherrystone, VA EF1 tornado and three additional deaths from the Columbia, MS EF3 tornado not included in the total here? There were 53 tornadic deaths in 2014. Count for yourself if you don't believe me. Sharkguy05 (talk) 21:00, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Sharkguy05Reply
