Title

According to spelling and grammar mechanics, "all-star" is always one word. Now those Cartoon Network press releases are always known for spelling mistakes in their titles and for lack of punctuation, so I am gonna go with what's correct.

For example some of the mistakes were:

• Saying "Maclean" instead of "McLean"
• Saying "Franken Forest" instead of "Franken-forest"
• Saying "Brutaler" instead of "Brutal-er"
• Having no exclamation mark on "Backstabbers Ahoy"
• Having no colin on "Total Drama Revenge Of The Island" and displaying The and Of as capitals.
• And the most notable one, they misplaced a word and said "Brain vs. Brain: The Ultimate Showdown" and forgot brawn

Anyway, now back to the "all-star" issue, every single show, game or movie that has "all-stars" in the title has that "-" in the middle and it's been that way ever since the English language was first written, so I am gonna go ahead and do what's accurate, and unless Teletoon's version of the title is the same thing and has no dash on "all-star" either (which I doubt), the title can stay as it is. That's Drew Nelson's OFFICIAL facebook. How is that not reliable? Plus he pretty much confirmed him when he released the team name information on Instagram. I checked the original link and it looks like the picture was taken on a cell phone camera, and it's also too brightly lit and extremely blurry thanks to motion blur, making the words on the script unreadable. I REALLY don't want to start any rumors, but...

Alejandro

Someone delete the part that says Alejandro will speak multiple languages. It is already known that he speaks Spanish. In Christian Potenza's video, the fact that Alejandro can speak multiple languages was stated so we would know that it was him. It was not to say that he will speak more languages. Returning contestants

I'm not sure if anyone cares, but it seems the character list is a bit out-dated. The confirmed Total Drama veterans for season 5 are: Alejandro, Cameron, Courtney, Duncan, Gwen, Heather, Jo, Lightning, Lindsay, Mike, Sam, Sierra and Zoey. Lindsay,Bridgette, and Dakota-Are they returning

I saw a few months ago that Lindsay was supposed to compete but then changes and I NEED info to see if Lindsay will be competing,and for the new cast, it's pretty obvious that they won't be actually 'new', just new selected contestants, if. I'm right I hope that Dakota,Bridgette,DJ,Dawn,Tyler,Noah, and Ezekiel return because they never really got a fair chance plus DJ was always eliminated unfairly,Bridgette was eliminated before the teams began for kissing Geoff 24-7,Tyler and Noah were always eliminated for flunking the challenge or doing a bad thing,and Ezekiel was cursed by DJ and became a monster,Plus Dakota and Dawn were Scott's victims,so PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU GET INFO -gurerich

The new cast

Well the November 2013 air date was just a possible airdate, but the air date from this new article though is more official, and it says "Winter 2014" not "Winter 2013", so that is why I'm adding it in here. 26 weeks after the start of winter is the spring, so that is why TDAS will end in Spring 2014. You do realize that this could be a joke, right? No way they can air Season 5 this early especially since they are still animating it. Don't expect to see Total Drama until the Fall at least since even if they are completely done with the animation right now, they still need a few more months to check the final episodes and then get approval by the networks and start advertising. Um they have been animating it TDAS since April atleast... McGillis already said they have 13 fully animated episodes ready now all they're doing now is editing. Some info that needs to be updated

There's still some sections of text that say this season is 26 episodes with the former half being all-stars and the latter half being the new cast. This really needs to be updated. I'd just suggest saying that Tom Mcgillis originally confirmed this season would be double packaged, but as of June 2013, the latter half of season 5 was pushed forward and set to be season 6. 96.237.242.65 (talk) 17:19, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

If they could be seen in those scripts then that alone confirms both of them especially since both names appear on Episode 4 it's not that blurry.. we have our 14 especially since Brian Froud confirmed both Sam and Scott. Get over it.

The contestants and teams have already been set, and Izzy and Eva are not listed as returning. Gwen is still one of the good guys and Courtney is still a villain (despite their misplacement on the wrong teams in TDAS, probably done on purpose by Chris Maclean to stir things up). How would Ezekiel be coming back? As much as I like him, he really isn't an "All-Star"; he was elimination fodder for both seasons he competed in. As far as him making an appearance, the episode entitled "Zeek and Ye Shall Find" is rumored to have him in it, but who knows. Well Cartoon Network is confirming the official cast of AllStars on Monday. Izzy and Owen will probably be in the season due to being popular. Where did you hear this from? I think this section's title is more likely to be true. According to what I've heard, Gwen originally starts out on the Villains team (despite actually being one of the good characters) and Courtney on the Heroes team (despite being a villain herself), although my guess is that this is because both were purposely put on the wrong teams by Chris Maclean to stir things up on the show. If you watch the first episode of TDAS, you would know that Chris puts Gwen in the Villains and Courtney on the Heroes from the start, so I doubt that there would be any team switch anymore. Giggett (talk) 01:48, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

I would just like to make something clear, I have seem alot of people saying that this season was bad because revenge of the island was 3 million viewers, and this season was 1.5 million viewer. I would just like to make it clear cartoon networks viewers in general has gone down, not just total drama(cartoon network barely make it past 2 million once every two months, check the sources for TDAS episodes), not due to this season being bad, or unfavorable. In the revenge of the island days, cartoon networks viewer in general, were far higher than it is now. I think cartoon networks viewer ship going down has mainly to do with prices, and switching to more expensive networks (as they did last year, 'only way to watch is to pay more'). So as of now there is no real reception yet to be found online (since it's hard to find any real critics who review this show), so in that case, the reception section might remain empty for now.
