Objectives

Under heading "objectives of tpm..."

I quote: 6. Yield losses. Those loses could use further explanation. The first two loses affect the availability of a piece of equipment, the third and forth loses affects equipment efficiency and the fifth lose result in reduced quality from output(Nicholas, 1998). end quote.

Loses (to lose, as in 'to lose a race.') is the incorrect english spelling of 'losses' ('the bar of gold suffered a loss on the market yesterday. It is expected to suffer further losses in the future.'). This also looks like something the person intended to add to the 'talk page' as in right here. 70.72.163.161 (talk) 18:01, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

This article is biased, obvi...

This article is biased, obviously written by someone how has absolutely no knowledge of TPM. He/she must be somehow affiliated to "Prabhuswamy, M.S., Nagesh, P., Ravikumar, K.P.". which is mentioned now and again through the article. The earlier version article of this article i accessed, coupe of weeks back, was much more comprehensive going into the details and explaining each of the eight pillars. kindly reupload the article and delete this one.

I agree. I've reformatted the reference, however, there's room for even more improvement. wcrosbie (talk), Melbourne, Australia 23:23, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

Vague, obvious and uninformative

With the exception of maybe one or two lists and one equation, there really is very little substance in this article. Unfortunately I am not at this time somebody qualified to expand upon this, though hopefully with the new job I hope to start in the next few weeks I will be, but I would be really grateful to anyone who did.
