"Known for its mild climate, attractive beaches and great fishing, Senegal has long been highly regarded by European tourists,[2] mostly French and Belgian.[3]" - That reads just like a tourism brochure, not an encyclopedia. I'm not sure how to re-phrase that, but it should be.
