editThe text does not make it clear that this is an American term for a type of American meeting. --621PWC (talk) 17:44, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
It's an American term but it's not an American meeting. This type of meeting occurs in many countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.36.17.2 (talk) 21:10, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
Potential merge
editI think I understand the difference between a town hall meeting and a town meeting but this article does not make the difference clear enough. It seems especially uncertain in its referencing, notably, reference 3 is explicitly about town meetings. As it stands, the reader may be better served by merging this article into Town Meeting. - Fair point. There's a pretty crisp divide however, so easy to draw the line. It should be clear now in content and cites. – SJ + 02:40, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
