- Lead
- "but it was rejected", rejected by whom?
- Changed it to "she rejected it", for Minogue. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- "Spears had to convince her record label to release "Toxic" as a single, and has described it as her favorite song from her career", re-write.
- ""Toxic" has been covered by a number of artists and has appeared in television series Doctor Who and the feature film Knocked Up." songs don't appear. Use different words.
- Used "featured". Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- ""Toxic" is also considered one of the defining songs for Spears." defining of what? What does that mean? Explain.
- I took that sentence from "Like a Virgin", which is GA. Defining for her career. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- "The music video is also known for showing Spears for the first time as a confident adult woman, comfortable with her own sexuality." How is does "Toxic" do this anymore so than her previous videos? She has always been shown sexually provocative and confident in her body and image.
- That's what's stated by the source, and I think they meant that there's not a huge contrast like in "I'm a Slave 4 U", where she was trying to wipe off her teen pop image. She can be seen for the first time as full grown woman, rather than a teenager trying to grow up. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Background
- "Swedish team Bloodshy & Avant" It's unclear what you mean by Swedish team.
- Meant producers, but deleted "Swedish team". Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Composition
- Looks good.
- Critical reception
- Looks good.
- Chart performance
- "gold" for America, should be linked to "RIAA certifications", its more direct and appropriate, however its still not bad.
- "gold" in Australia, should be linked to the link currently used for the RIAA.
- Both done. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Development
- "About the first scenes, Spears said she wanted to join the mile-high club", regarding the first scenes is a better fit.
- "therefore his casting director and his assistant appear on the plane scenes." appeared.
- "The video had a cost of $1 million, considered her most expensive to date." re-write for clarity.
- Synopsis
- Looks good.
- Release and reception
- "It was also nominated for four VMAs at the 2004 awards in the categories of Best Female Video, Best Dance Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year. It lost all of the categories", could easily be one sentence.
- "Corey Moss of MTV said that Spears "remains the Susan Lucci of the VMAs." What does this mean? You made a quote that I don't understand its connection, so you need to explain what it means.
- Lucci as an actress known for being nominated 18 times for an Emmy but not winning. It compares the amount of nominations Spears received over the years without winning to Lucci's. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Live performances
- Looks good.
- Cover versions and samples
- Looks good.
- Legacy
- Looks good.
All in all you've done a really great job with this article. There really aren't many fixes to be made, and they aren't big ones either. Keep up the good work. Once these little issues have been fixed, I will gladly pass it. Please comment below my comments when you have corrected said issues, that way it's easier for me to keep track of what you've fixed. Good job!--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me 18:54, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
