Rename page
editNeeds to be renamed "Toyota Camry (XV30)" to reflect current info. Gmat33 (talk) 10:22, 29 September 2009 UTC
- No, Hybrids are a class of its own - they need their own pages, Yegor, 25 March 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.14.147 (talk) 14:42, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
- Strongly oppose: there is enough info for this hybrid to have its own article + there are other hybrids notable enough with its own pages such as Honda Civic Hybrid and Ford Fusion Hybrid.-Mariordo (talk) 11:14, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editAnother merge proposal of Toyota Camry Hybrid to this article is taking place in the Camry Hybrid talk here. To avoid duplication and confusion, please make your comments in the Hybrid page to keep just one discussion at a time.-Mariordo (talk) 16:19, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
OK Where should I put it? Or is it still relevant in current context?
editJul 2009 Camry Hybrid production commenced at the Gateway Plant, Thailand.--North wiki (talk) 22:02, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have separated the Camry and prestige Camry information into this article and Toyota Aurion, with the latter including the Camry sold in Thailand.
- The Camry Hybrid changes applied to the North American car also apply to the Thai model, with the exception being the different front, rear, and interior styling of the Thai model. I don't intend to repeat the hybrid information at Toyota Aurion; I will explain how the Aurion Camry Hybrid differs from the regular Camry Hybrid and point readers to this XV40 page for more information. 2007 Motor Trend Car of the Year
editWhy is there no mention of the 2007 Motor Trend Car of the Year award?--2601:153:900:43F0:3813:9EF8:FA5A:C703 (talk) 00:32, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
- We already mention "The Hybrid Camry has also received two awards in North America: the 2007 Green Car of the Year awarded by Green Car Journal,[180] and the 2007 Car of the Year in the Family Sedan (over CA$30,000) category awarded by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada." Feel free to add the Motor Trend COTY award to that section. Don't forget the reference to support it. With so many different COTY awards from different organisations, I'm waiting for the Paraburdoo Girl Scouts version. Stepho talk 01:14, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
