@Black Kite: on WP:ITN/C noted a bunch of copyright violations. Here is what he said in full:

* Strong Oppose. Not well enough sourced, a lot of it is just bullet points ... peacock writing ("He is very well known for his hard work, dedication, composure and calm qualities"), general grammar and writing issues, but more importantly I picked a random sentence (" Welcoming Israeli Ambassador Nadav Eshcar, President Quang expressed his delight over the sound development of co-operative ties between the two countries, as demonstrated by President Reuven Ruvi Rivlin’s State visit to Vietnam in March") only to find that it's a straight copy from this news article. Elsewhere, "Tran Dai Quang made the statement at a meeting with a delegation of 87 outstanding HCMCYU members who won the Ly Tu Trong Award 2018 in Hanoi" is a straight copy from here but actually makes no sense whatsoever because the previous sentence in the news article hasn't been included (the question is "What statement?"). There is also copying and/or close paraphrasing from here, here, etc. etc. Copyvios on the main page - ain't happening. Black Kite (talk) 20:14, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

Do not remove the copyright violation tag, until these are handled. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 08:20, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please add Category:Infectious disease deaths in Vietnam because Trần Đại Quang died as a result of a disease caused by a virus infection. This is according to the source from The Sydney Morning Herald. 68.191.50.83 (talk) 00:17, 24 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Is this still copyvio?

edit

The most recent edit has removed the copyvio tag, without edit description. It would seem that either this was incorrectly removed and should be restored, or it was correctly removed, in which case the RD nom at ITN should arguably be re-opened, as it was closed because of the copyvio (unless it's deemed pointless to re-open for other reasons). Can somebody clarify the position, please? Tlhslobus (talk) 05:12, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Short Article

edit

I know there were copyvio issues and possibly still is I'm not sure, by why is the article to short? Can't someone use the obits to formulate a good chunk of a Political career section or presidency section? --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 19:30, 3 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
