The page Tractography posted in Wikipedia was partialy taken from Miami Children's Hospital Web Site. I, Byron Bernal, MD was the author of both pages and I have the intelectual property of them. I plann to extent the Wikipedia's description soon.

Hi - I've added illustrations, captions, references and text. I didn't realize that you thought you could copyright a Wikipedia page. So sorry but I was just trying to improve the information for users.Afiller (talk) 05:01, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Some pasting from websites, too. See http://www.mch.com/doctors_caregivers/physicians/radiologyStudies/tractography/dti.htm for the second section. It may be by permission. Geogre 12:34, 26 Jun 2004 (UTC)

to "the author" - the intellectual property right obviously is yours only under very special circumstances. otherwise I would expect those that fund your work - the miami childrens hospital - to retain some if not all rights.

this article is called "tractography" but it only discusses one kind of tractography, I'll try to ammend the text when I get a chance. I don't think I have any images that I hold the exclusive copyright to (even though it is my data from my work) but I'll try to illustrate with public domain stuff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.86.176.22 (talk) 15:33, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

History

one version

Diffusion MRI, a method to produce images of the molecular diffusion process in tissues, was introduced in 1985, notably for its potential for neuroimaging.[1][2] Aaron Filler, Franklyn Howe and colleagues published the first diffusion tensor MRI or DTI and tractographic brain images between 1991 and 1992.[3][4] DTI allows to fully characterize molecular diffusion in the 3 dimensions of space.[5][6]

Another version

Diffusion MRI, a method to produce images of the molecular diffusion process in tissues, was introduced in 1985, notably for its potential for neuroimaging.[7][8] An processing method of diffusion MRI, called diffusion tensor MRI or DTI [9] allows to fully characterize molecular diffusion in the 3 dimensions of space.

Neither of these is independent sourced; what would be useful would be refs where none of the people claimed to have invented this are listed as authors. Jytdog (talk) 20:39, 14 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
