Visconti-no Shouzou
editThe song doesn't centre on the Italian film producer. The song is rather about a romantically charged first encounter, in a quiet library, between the song's speaker and a man who resembles someone named Visconti. "Shouzou" (肖像) means "likeness; portrait". The mysterious stranger, wearing dark glasses and carrying a thick philosophy textbook under his arm, seats himself next to the speaker, and tries to conceal his reciprocal interest.
