Correction
editTrader Classified Media is based in Canada, not the Netherlands. (as per the corporate overview on trader.com)
Trader Corporation is not Trader Classified Media
editPlease understand that Trader Classified Media does not exist anymore. It was international company with operations in: Canada, France, Spain, Russia, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Croatia etc.
Canadian Yellow Pages Group purchased the Canadian assets of Trader Classified Media and additionally trader.com domain that was previously used as corporate site. I don't know how to do it, but redirection from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trader.com to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trader_Classified_Media should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.141.86.154 (talk) 20:32, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Is Autotrader.ca the same as autotrader.com
editI havent found anything on the internet saying they are the same company. They have different logos. So it looks like a different company. Is the reason they can have the same name without copyright issues because the com one is American and the ca one is canadian 199.243.248.234 (talk) 16:30, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- Yes they are separate companies. I'm not too sure about the copyright issue, but I'd assume that them operating in different countries would be a part of it. – BrandonXLF (talk) 18:54, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
