The result of the move request was: no consensus. More evidence of common usage will be available when the film is actually released, and reviews are published. A further move discussion may be appropriate once a decent number of reviews is available. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:35, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
Trailer Park Boys 3: Don't Legalize It → Trailer Park Boys: Don't Legalize It – The film's official title, as according to its theatrical release poster: http://impawards.com/intl/canada/2014/trailer_park_boys_dont_legalize_it.html SuperSonic2000 (talk) 05:30, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose Article names don't generally follow official names instead preferring the subject's common name, i.e. the name actually used in sources and is most recognisable. Of the current sources and external links: while IMDB drops the 3, the Entertainment One press release and CBC news piece use the full title as-is. Articles written since the release of the poster (e.g., and see trailer title within that article) also seem to use the full title, so I'm leaning oppose. Maybe the common name will change when the film is released. benmoore 17:52, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support since this is the film's official title. The title is clear here, and per WP:COMMONNAME, "Ambiguous or inaccurate names for the article subject, as determined in reliable sources, are often avoided even though they may be more frequently used by reliable sources." The writing of Trailer Park Boys 3: Don't Legalize It is an inaccurate but understandable juxtaposition of the temporary name Trailer Park Boys 3 and the official subtitle Don't Legalize It, which both reflects the sequel nature and reports on the more detailed name. It looks like this has been used up until the release of the poster (just a day ago), so it makes sense to go with this new branding. We can reevaluate after the film's release if sources still use "3" in the title, but I doubt this is the case. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 19:51, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Trailer Park Boys 3: Don't Legalize It → Trailer Park Boys: Don't Legalize It – I am again requesting the change of the film title, as per WP:COMMONNAME. The film's official title can be found from its theatrical release poster and Entertainment One's production notes for the film among other promotional material. --Relisted. - Support as stated above. We should not have left this article at an incorrect title despite official evidence to the contrary. Now, we have reviews for the film like here and here which use the official title (without the "3") in their reviews. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 11:13, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Fortdj33 (talk) 15:19, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
