Operations in Israel

edit

An editor has deleted the reference to the following citation: http://www.haaretz.com/business/veolia-pulling-out-of-transit-contracting-sectors-in-israel-1.400458 He made a reference to a discussion that is taking place on a separate talk page. But the issues are not the same. I maintain that the above article is relevant here. It is relevant to mention that a reputable Israeli newspaper suggested in December 2011 that Veolia's decision to withdraw from certain transport businesses in Israel may be due to political pressure. Propose merging Transdev S.A. into this article. It is the same organisation, just with Veolia merged into it in 2013. Having separate articles is WP:CONTENTFORKING. Kiynacleat (talk) 11:08, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oppose, not true, Transdev S.A. merged with Veolia to form Veolia Transdev, a completely new entity. Veolia did not merge into Transdev. Marcnut1996 (talk) 05:06, 18 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oppose as both articles are lengthy enough as it is, I don't think a merge would be beneficial. NemesisAT (talk) 13:29, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Support Same as BHP where BHP and Billiton merged. 05:12, 31 December 2021 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Balgil (talkcontribs)
