- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- A few comments:
- Remember to state which country the article is talking about. This seems to be a phenomena that US contributors have great problem with, and other nationalities do not. (fixed)
- The lead is very short and does not accurately summarize the article. It should probably be twice to three times the current length.
- The guideline suggests "one to two paragraphs" for an article under 15k, there are two mid-length paragraphs now so I think that's sufficient. Do you think there's anything the intro omits now that it should contain to summarize the article?--Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- We no longer link dates. Note that in US articles, the date format is September 1, 1974 (remember the comma). (fixed)
- Generally, the paragraphs are too short. (fixed some, and I will not pursue this further—just consider it general feedback)
- The "occupational tax" link needs to be changed to a blue link.
- Done, but the article for the topic is surprisingly bad.--Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- When quoting titles in references, do not use all-caps. All-caps is a typographic choice, not a grammatic one (it is similar to using bold face or choice of font). We convert all-caps titles to normal capitalization. (fixed)
- Avoid starting sentences with digits. (fixed, and probably not a GA criteria)
- Avoid using abbreviations without spelling them the first time. In particular, "R-KY" means absolutely nothing to a non-American. Never, ever use the US Postal state abbreviations on Wikipedia, no matter how common they may be in the US. They are totally meaningless to two-thirds of English speakers. (fixed)
- Are there really 7,000 bus stops? That would be 140 stops per route.
- Yeah. These aren't all stops with benches and rain shelters or anything, they're just places (usually every block along the route) with a metal sign saying it's a bus stop. I added what should be ample clarification. --Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- What makes a diesel-powered rubber-tired vehicle a trolley? A trolley is either a trolleybus or a tram (electric either way).
- I tried to clarify this. It's just a bus disguised as a trolley, basically. --Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- It is factually accurate and verifiable.

- a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
- It is broad in its coverage.
- a (major aspects): b (focused):
- I feel the article is somewhat short. I would like to see prose mention of the fleet size, annual costs and number of employees. Also, it would be appropriate to make a general discussion of frequency and more details about the service level. Is there no more available about the history? In my experience, much more can be said about public transport for almost forty years in a city this size (even in the US). However, if nothing more can be established using reliable sources, then it will be excepted.
- The article gives TARC's 2008-09 operating expenses. Other than citing the agency's official paperwork, I don't know how to give much more info on the budget... I'm limited to what the newspapers happen to report on, which isn't much. I added the # of employees in the most recent year I could find it. I added some information about the history of TARC's routes... but without getting into stuff like which bus provides service to which mall, and when it added that, which I consider too trivial, I'm not sure how much more can usefully be added. --Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

- Do not force image sizes. Captions are fragments, and should not end in a period (full stop). I will not require it, but the article would be much better if there was at least one image of a "normal" bus.
- I expanded a caption to include a full sentence. I don't think any of the images force a size anymore? I'm not good with formatting so I might not be understanding what you mean. I'll snap a picture ASAP. It should be within a week. This lack of a bus image should be the only thing I haven't tried to address yet. --Chiliad22 (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

- I am placing the article on hold until the matters have been seen to. Arsenikk (talk) 12:00, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- I still think the lead is a bit short, but I will let it pass under doubt. Congratulations with a good article. Arsenikk (talk) 11:03, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
