The page says translation is "A term used to refer to a spacewalk".
That doesn't make any sense. It is a term used in connection with spacewalk activities, in the same way the word is used in mathematics - movement in a given direction. Translation vs. rotation. The astronaut may translate down to the end of the cargo bay, or along the space station's truss. Also used in talking about movements of the robotic arm. But it does not refer to the spacewalk itself as this page seems to say.
