Criticism
editThis article answers questions in favour of govenment spin. This is not an encyclopedic article!!!—Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.254.200.220 (talk • contribs)
- I concur. The TIF funding proposal is lining up to be pretty controversial in Bristol, as the councils seem to be lining up to get funding to run buses down the most popular bike path in the country. The idea of central governments funding explicit transport projects goes hand in hand with the current 'big projects don't need planning inquiries' idea coming out from central government -they go hand in hand. Also, TIF funding is England+Wales only; Scottish councils get their money in different ways. Question is, how to improve the article? SteveLoughran (talk) 23:59, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Regions
editSomeone just marked this up as England, not UK. It's England and Wales, so needs to be marked up appropriately. How? SteveLoughran (talk) 23:04, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Dead
editThe scheme has now been officially disbanded never having paid out to any scheme, the pot was raided by the Government last year to bail out rising costs for London Transport Projects. WatcherZero (talk) 23:27, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
