Air Dates
edit- Whilst I am aware that this is a Joint French-Canadian production, there is no need to have each countries air date shown in the episode section It is MOS:TV In particular Production to have the original earliest air date shown and not have the air date for each country. Regardless of its input in production.
- A precedent would be something like Stargate SG-1 where the original air dates are the first broadcasting of the episode.
- So based on that any objections to removing this surplus information? MisterShiney ✉ 23:59, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- I do not agree. Each country has a different order of release dates for this series. The main goal of this article should be to inform and be useful. To be useful to a given reader in a particular country, that reader should be able to locate the air date of a given episode in his/her part of the world. --Thorwald (talk) 00:51, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- Find me a precedent where non English speaking countries have their broadcast times listed. They don't. Wikipedia is not a TV Guide or a complete directory of information. Please also bear in mind that this is the English speaking Wikipedia and therefore that should be the primary focus, therefore on could argue that the English speaking countries should be the priority. At the moment it is very confusing as not only has the season aired in some countries, but they are in a completely different order every time! I'll drop a line on Wiki Project TV and ask them to pop over and contribute. MisterShiney ✉ 10:05, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
Accuracy of Episodes List?
editAre the episodes accurately listed? Asking this because the sequence is different from the list of 2012 episodes of Transporter: The Series, as recorded by IMdB — Preceding unsigned comment added by NotesTracker (talk • contribs)
Regarding the copyvio tag
editCan anybody list the alleged source where the content was copied and pasted from? Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 02:02, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well, imagine my surprise to find this section here when I found a suspected copyvio ...
- The main actor description in the "Cast" section includes:
- "Frank rents his "transporter" services without asking any questions, to whoever is willing to pay his price. His code of conduct is very strict, his precision driving and his combat skills allow him to survive the most dangerous criminals throughout his missions. Very secretive, Frank trusts only a handful of people: his agent Carla, his mechanic Dieter, and a French police inspector named Tarconi."
- It is a clone of this GeekTV article - which came first I have no idea, but I will revisit in a few days to see if anyone has bothered to work on it and remove any copyvios. Chaosdruid (talk) 01:05, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Episode Guide season #1 episode order issue
editIs there any reason that the Season #1 episode guide is listed in terms of the French TV airing order? This doesn't make any sense to me. The season #1 episodes should either be listed in terms of the airing order of the first country they aired in (Germany), or in terms of the "best" episode order (i.e. the Canadian airing order). My inclination is to reorder the season #1 episode guide in terms of the Canadian airing order, but I would certainly be willing to go with the German TV airing order for season #1 instead if that is the consensus. So is there any objection to reordering the season #1 episode guide along these lines? And is there a strong preference among other editors for the Canadian episode order, or the German TV airing order?... Thanks in advance. --IJBall (talk) 19:21, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
