Problems
edit1. part of the Romanian Orthodox Church of Transylvania re-accepted the leadership of the Pope
- is there any proof that the Romanian orthodox church of Transylvania accepted the leadership of the pope before?
2. The Transylvanian School created the current Latin-based Romanian alphabet, largely derived from the Italian and the French alphabets.
- from what i know this is not true. the transylvanians used a more etymologic alphabet. the more phonetic one, used today, was created in the Regat.
3. imposed by the Bulgarian Empire during the 10th century over the ancient latin one
- any proof that latin alphabet was used to write romanian before ?
4. Another notable contribution of the Transylvanian School was the usage of the first French and Italian neologisms.
- i'm not sure about this either... i remeber that maiorescu criticized transylvanians for using German neologisms instead of the French ones used in the Regat (he also criticized them for trying to artificially make romanian more similar to latin)
