I'll be doing some light copy editing as I go along, please check to make sure I didn't mess anything up.
- I'm unsure about the Oak Lawn image. Just because its old, doesn't mean its PD. The licensing tag you've got on there is from the date of publishing, not the date the photo was taken. I'm not finding any proof in the source demonstrating that it was published before 1925. I can ping someone in for a second opinion, if you'd like.
- The source says the photo was taken around 1900 and that it's from the Library of Congress photo database. APK whisper in my ear 20:27, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

- Some of the details from the lead are not verified in the body. For instance:
- ". It included a large four-story Second Empire house" - Body doesn't mention four stories
- "The tree remained until 1953 when it was felled for a planned parking lot." - Body doesn't mention a parking lot here
