The name of the people and the state does not correspond to the one in the Treaty
editIn the original Slavic language treaty, it refers to the people of Muscovites and Moscow State.
When it comes to the pilgrimage to the Holy City, Moscow people and Russian people are written separately in the contract. Because under "russian" word in those days it was used for modern Ukrainians. For expample i Article 2 written "moscovites and Cossacks". In Article 5 written "Zaporizhian Sich which in areas of Moscovian state". In Article 12 When it comes to visiting the holy city, it is written that Moscovian and russian (russian/rusines/ruthenians means Ukrainian in those times) the clergy had the right to visit without a license to visit for free. so, it's obviously that Moscovian people doesn't think in those time that they are "russian". Because they wrote about themselves separately in original document!!! https://ru.m.wikisource.org/wiki/%D0%9A%D0%BE%D0%BD%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%8C%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%80%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9_%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%80_(1700) Bodia1406 (talk) 05:15, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
