Sextuple damages:
Question left on article
edit24.174.164.83 left this on the article page. This is very unclear. Do treble damages include the actual damages, or are they in addition to actual damages? If someone has actual damages of $100, are treble damages $300 or are they $400 (actual damagages of $100 plus treble damages of $300)?? --Nucleusboy (talk) 01:57, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- $100 would be trebled to $300. I'll see if I can find a source. bd2412 T 03:07, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Weasel word
editUnlike indicated, "some" is not a weasel word here: the sentence would become false if the word is omitted: then it would suggest that all governmens do, which is definitely incorrect. A true concern though might be that the statement is aspecific - but a full list of countries would be inappropriate as well. Rbakels (talk) 08:49, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
