Tremadoc
editHi all - I've just added a small bit to mention that the village is sometimes known as "Tremadoc". I've only been to northern Wales once, and I'm only basing what I wrote on a couple of websites, including a reference to an eisteddfod that was held there in 1851. Locals may know better the truth of the statement these days, and may well decide to change it. Thanks! Rob Lindsey 23:00, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Copyrighted material
editAlmost all the text in this entry is lifted directly from a leaflet published by Cyfeillion Cadw Tremadog, a charity set up to preserve and protect the historic buildings of Tremadog. I have therefore italicised it to make clear which sections are excerpts from the leaflet, and attributed them to Cyfeillion Cadw Tremadog with a link to their website. If this is not acceptable, I will simply remove the text instead. --82.32.6.243 (talk) 00:17, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- The quotes are more than fair use. You can use copyright material as a source of facts, but not as a source of sentences. However, since you have clearly marked and attributed them, the help desk has confirmed that they can stay for the moment, but I am working to remove the copyright violation.
