In the Morphology section, the following sentence appears: "This fly has huge halteres."

This not correct and is misleading. The halteres are small and yellow. They are covered by calypters, which are well-developed, bright orange lobes at the base of the wing. When viewed from above, the large calypters may appear to be "huge halteres".
