Requested move
editGiven that there is only ONE "Trinity University" why do we need a disambiguation page? 68.94.235.34
- I was thinking the same thing. Let me see what Timwi thinks since he originally moved it. -Mabeenot (talk) 03:28, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: No consensus for move. Ucucha 18:03, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
Trinity University → Trinity University (disambiguation) — After Trinity Washington's name change, only the Texas school is named "Trinity University" and that article also has the highest page views, making it the primary topic. - Relisting Ronhjones (Talk) 22:17, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

- Trinity University (Texas) → Trinity University
- Reject. The other entries are near enough to "Trinity University" to be confused with it. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:38, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
- Opposed
I don't know, that's not a particularly strong argument to establish this as Primary topic. These WP:PRIMARY requested moves always carry some uncertainty with them, so I don't find the page views argument along to be very compelling (barring demonstrated disparities in the range of 1000's-to-1) — V = I * R (talk to Ohms law) 03:53, 19 January 2010 (UTC) Changed to Opposed based on stats below (thanks for taking the time to research it, Labattblueboy). Not enough to meet WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.

- Trinity University, the dab. page, received 1022 hits[1], so evidently the vast majority are reaching their intended target without the assitance of the dab. page. However, it's not conclusive so I'm Neutral--Labattblueboy (talk) 20:44, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- FYI View stats for December 2009 Trinity University (Texas) 4287 hits[2], Trinity International University 1379 hits[3], Trinity Washington University 1431 hits[4], Trinity Western University 2101 hits[5]. University of Trinity College is referred to locally as Trinity College, so its unlikely to be affected by a move.--Labattblueboy (talk) 06:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
