Spin Multiplicity
editThe article states that trions can exist as singlet or triplet states, giving total spins at odds with these multiplicities. I'm not knowledgeable in this field, but if they're spin-half I think they should be ground state doublets with a quartet excited state. Expert attention required. - The explanation is: not all three particles of the trion are interchangeable (2x electrons/holes and 1x hole/electron). Materialscientist (talk) 23:38, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the clarification - yes, the current explanation is quite satisfactory. Regards, Eutactic (talk) 23:46, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
