This should be only updated when the entire list has been announced. It's pointless to do this in real time. It would be like updating the score of the Super Bowl as it was going on. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 02:07, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- It's what's been done in previous years and it isn't harming anybody. I don't think it's very comparable, considering the score is subject to change in sports events. It's not final. Songs announced at specific numbers are final and don't change. Besides, we cannot stop people from updating this list as each song is announced. They're going to do it regardless of any editor's thoughts on it. So I've taken to doing it so it's done properly. Ss112 03:49, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Suggestion to merge "Country of origins" columns where possible
editJust a suggestion, surely we can merge the "Country of origin" columns where possible – there's something like 7 Australian artists in a row in the 70s at the moment, surely it would make sense as it's a bit of an eyesore. What does everyone think about this?
(Preface your reasoning with For/Against please) - Sean Stephens (talk) 03:16, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Against. While I am for combining rows on discographies and the like per convention, in many respects, we shouldn't do it here and we don't need to everywhere, as per MOS:ACCESS combining rows can disadvantage visually impaired readers who use screen readers. Ss112 03:30, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Against. It's a sortable table, so therefore not really possible. Effluvium1 (talk) 02:29, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
