This was a possible "copyvio" as described by User:BaseballBaby. Judge for yourself, but some of it may be useful for the article:
“ | Tristen Walker, a Claremont boy from the WAFL has been an inconsistent player on Collingwood's list for the past four years. It is rare to find a man with a limited amount of skill playing AFL football but Walker does not fit the mould of a normal AFL footballer. He played in the 2003 Grand Final squad that was torn apart by Brisbane, he was smashed by opponent Jamie Charman. At that stage of his unsuccesful career he was Collingwood's third choice ruckman, behind Josh Fraseer and Steven McKee. In 2006, he is still suprisingly on the list, despite being very low on a prefered ruckmen basis, sixth behind Josh Fraser, Guy Richards, David Fanning, Cameron Cloke and even Center Half Forward Anthony Rocca.
Walker would be feeling the strain of seven delistings by Collingwood last year, and is desperately lucky to still be on Collingwood's list. No one is luckier than him to be wearing a Coolingwood jumper, not even Jason Cloke. 2006 is make or break, and on current form he is heading for break, yet to break into the senior squad. |
