editWikiProject Biography Assessment
The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article. -- Yamara 17:22, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Reassessed per request at WP:BIOGRAPHY/A. The article would get a better assessment if all the paragraphs had proper citations for verification. KimChee (talk) 11:08, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your assessment of the article. How would you suggest improving the citations? Do you mean placement of the citations respective to the facts? Could you point me to where I can read up on doing that better? I looked for that, but Wiki's Manual of Style can be maze-like to me. Thanks. --Sephiroth9611 (talk) 16:41, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, the ends of some of the paragraphs do not have citations to support statements about the weight of the figures portion, her various board/committee positions, etc. You can find a good tutorial towards structuring articles at WP:BETTER. For guidance by example, Evan Lysacek is a well-developed article covering this topic. KimChee (talk) 22:10, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- There, I think that should be better. Most of it was just poor placement of citations. Rearranging and combining sentences and repositioning the citations has helped as well as finding a few new cites. --Sephiroth9611 (talk) 03:23, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
- The article is still a little on the short side, but reasonably well referenced now. Cheers. KimChee (talk) 09:14, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
- At least it's a little better than how I found it. I'm working on talking to some people to try to line up some more content and I've emailed about a request for a copyrighted picture, so let's hope for the best that someone gets back to me. Thanks for all your help, KimChee. --Sephiroth9611 (talk) 14:38, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
