Jane Horrocks was a long running star in Tesco UK TV adverts, as the long-suffering daughter to a retired, persnickety mother played by Prunella Scales for 10 years (ending in 2008/2009 I think). She later deprecated her work for Tesco "allowed her to avoid taking "crap" acting jobs in film and TV to pay the bills."

Category: Julie has left?

edit

In the Christmas Special, Julie leaves Warrington Valco to become Manager at another branch - This episode can be viewed early on Sky's on Demand section. I think this should be marked on the page, I am not sure on the episode number etc but I feel this should be marked on the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Z2a (talkcontribs) 16:38, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Trollied. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Revisions by @Fan4Life:

edit

Hi, just noticed you reverted the edits I made to the page on tv show Trollied. Rather just re-edit the page, I just wanted to explain the reason for the re-write to the opening section which is now reverted. I compared the page to many tv series, albeit many being US. None of them seem have this long list of "it was renewed for a third series on xxxx, and starts filming in xxxxx. YYYY confirmed it was filming another series on xxxxx" and so on. Generally nobody would be interested in that sort of detail when visiting the page and makes the page a bit of a irrelevantly chronology-filled fact list rather than a wiki-style article.

On a separate note, I didn't do a dab link to Jason Watkins in my edit.

No-one needs to see that at the top of the article when visiting the page in my opinion. I'm not going to re-edit but I think editors to this page should consider reducing this chronology on the page's intro or move it to a separate "production" section. Relation to Superstore

edit

The article states: "Although not a direct adaptation of Trollied, NBC previewed their new comedy series Superstore on 30 November 2015. Many have seen Superstore as the American equivalent of Trollied." It's unclear to me what this means.Arnold Rothstein1921 (talk) 16:42, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
