Sources?
editI could place [citation needed]s on almost every sentence in this article, but that would clutter it up. So... Dingbats 14:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed - I agree. The article's on my to-do list; I've been going through the band's albums (Surfer Rosa and Doolittle are the ones I've worked on so far), bringing them to featured status. CloudNine 15:14, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Bird dreams of Olympus mons
editHey guys, I'm asking here, since its probably the most likely to have Pixies boffins here. I'm contemplating "Bird Dreams of Olympus Mons" as a pop culture reference in the article on the greek Icarus mythos. (Guy jumps off Olympus mons and crashes to the ground, after a 'good fly') even if its a very impressionistic take. But is there any references out there to the meaning of this pixies classic, or am I just tripping here? 124.178.179.96 (talk) 07:01, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I Don't Get It

Could use more content under "Critical Reception" section
editIt's currently pretty sparse, as it contains short bits of information from only two critics, and as such does not have as wide of a viewpoint as it maybe should.

Especially considering that one of them thinks this album is a contender for the greatest album of the 20th century -- which is of course wildly delusional. Woodstea (talk) 19:49, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
Release date
editMost sources I've look at show the release date as September 24, 1991 but here it's Sept. 23. Is there a controversy on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zotdragon (talk • contribs) 19:02, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
