edit

An article on Matmo is highly unnecessary as it was a short lived, no impact storm. There was nothing notable about and not much information to make a useful article. All that's needed is a single paragraph in the main article. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 21:34, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

im sorry to say this but i would support any merge attempts as this article did not have any Landfall which means it would just be Storm history in this article which is pretty much covered in the Season page anyway Jason Rees (talk) 01:55, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Essentially, this article contains the same information as that indicated in the source section. So I move to make a merge... For anyone who wants further edits for this article, (I've seen that there are many noticeable edits here.) do so in the source section. I shall make the merge.-Pika ten10 (talk) 09:26, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Matmo in 2008 wasn't that meteorologically extraordinary of a storm, it doesn't have any impact on land.

First of all I was not here when this article was created. But imo, despite this article is "fine" with no mistakes and is a GA, this storm did not really make any impact. I really do not know why this is here, but I just love GA articles, so I'm going with a 50/50 here. Typhoon2013 (talk) 07:37, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Definitely merge this one. Doesn't meet current WPTC article criteria. @Hurricanehink, Juliancolton, and TropicalAnalystwx13: for more input.~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 14:40, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Seconded. About as unremarkable a storm as you'll find, and even as short as it is, the article has plenty of fluff. Better suited for a summary-style blurb in the season article. – Juliancolton | Talk 16:37, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
I don't like losing GA's, but I think a merge here is reasonable. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:19, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Shouldn't have been created, doesn't need to exist. Get it outta here! TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk · contributions) 01:29, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
