It would be much more productive to just merge this to the 2020 Central Vietnam floods article because its very bare and only a sections worth of info on impacts is actually included here and the meteorological history section is barely a paragraph. Nor is there any other important info included about this storm that can not just included in the 2020 Central Vietnam floods article, like Linfa. Except the fact that the impacts section for China and Hongkong is literally 3 sentences worth of info, so it clearly wasn't that bad. Linfa did more damage and had its article merged. Plus, if we don't merge that info into 2020 Central Vietnam Floods, it can most definitely fit in the season article. Hurricaneboy23(page) * (talk)14:26, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
If you're gauging a storm's impact by the amount of sentences the article has, Sinlaku has nearly the same amount of recognition outside of Vietnam, and a similar total death count, give or take two people. Nangka also got some recognition in the press so it's definitely notable (though perhaps more content could be added to it, such as the content of this SCMP article). If it ever comes to it, I'm open to merging it with the season article, however merging it with just the floods article generalizes too much. Chlod (say hi!) 14:55, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
