I've done a quick tidy up but there's much more room for improvement. Here's my thoughts:

  • It needs a better definition, more broad than a description of symptoms. eg TPE is an inflammatory condition of the lungs which occurs asa aresult of some infectious conditions or some such.
  • Expand symptoms, diagnosis and treatment sections
  • Sections on pathogenesis, epidemiology, natural history, pathologic features
  • Images - such as filaria, pulmonary histology etc.

I edited a nice improvement for this article. "Tropical pulmonary eosinophilia is a rare but well recognised syndrome characterised by pulmonary interstitial infiltrates and marked peripheral eosinophilia.. [1] This condition is more widely recognised and promptly diagnosed in filariasis-endemic regions, such as the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Asia and South America. In non-endemic countries, patients are commonly thought to have bronchial asthma. [2] [3] Chronic symptoms may delay the diagnosis by up to 5 years. Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page). after this second mention of a reference. So I couldn't post the whole improvement.
