The article states, "TrkA stands for Tropomyosin-Related Kinase A and not Tyrosine Kinase A or Tyrosine Receptor Kinase A."
What evidence in the literature is there that the definition of TrkA is one or the other? Additionally the beginning of the article states, "Neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor, type 1, also known as NTRK1, is a human gene." So at the start we see Neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, where as in the body it says this is wrong. Should it be Neurotrophic Tropomyosin-Related Kinase 1? |

NTKR or NTRK
edit"This gene encodes a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor (NTKR) family"
Shouldn't it be "this protein"? Also, the linked article says that it is "tyrosine receptor kinase", not "tyrosine kinase receptor". Totally confusing. Shcha (talk) 15:31, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
