Same lake?
editIs this the same lake as Trout Lake (New York)? bd2412 T 02:55, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
- @BD2412 and Hughesdarren: I added coords on the other article and they appear to match the shape of the first citation lake. The current coords of this article do not match any in GNIS nor land on any water, but are southeast of the GNIS entry and lake matching the shape of the first cited resource. As noted in the talk for Trout Lake (New York) I'm suggesting merging these articles in to this article. Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who? (talk) 23:42, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
- There are two lakes; I've changed the coordinates on this article to reflect that. I suggest replacing the merge templates with distinguish (or other hatnote) templates. The two lakes are:
- Trout Lake (Warren County, New York), which is in Bolton, New York and close to Lake George (New York)
- Trout Lake (New York), which is just north of Edwards, New York
- I don't know the area well enough to know whether the text is of the articles is otherwise correct, or whether details have been mixed between the two. Klbrain (talk) 02:53, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

- I fixed the problem, they were the same lake. I merged all the info from the other article to this one and fixed the coordinates. Thanks, 420Traveler (talk) 19:44, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
