Neutral point of view
edit@Deb: in what way do think the article is not neutral? Steelkamp (talk) 11:43, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- TBH, I'm not even sure that this local politician is notable. The article appears to emphasize events that appear to be to his credit ("beating ten other candidates"; "His achievements at the City of Joondalup include..." I'm not suggesting he did anything discreditable, but it's borderline. Deb (talk) 11:49, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- Things that could be added include his views on local government amalgamations (which were proposed by the state government during his WALGA presidency), and accusations in 2012 that he assaulted a fellow councillor. That first point will go towards proving his notability, and that second point will go towards making the article appear more neutral. Steelkamp (talk) 12:04, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- As a former president of the Australian Local Government Association, which is a national body, that makes him notable, at the very least. Editrite! (talk) 09:41, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
