Two different persons?
editIs it likely that Trygve Jacobsen (born 1876 in Kristiania, businessperson) is the same person that fought as a volunteer at the Winter War in 1940, and at the Battle of Kongsberg, being 63 years old at the time? In Ottosen (ed.). Nordmenn i fangenskap 1940-1945. one Trygve Jacobsen (born 27 November 1898, carpenter) is mentioned, arrested in February 1941 and released in March the same year. In Ulstein. Svensketrafikken. Vol. 1. a Trygve Jacobsen (born and grown up in Tistedalen, station worker) is mentioned running a route via Tistedalen to Sweden. (The Aftenposten article 150 kurerturer from 29 November 1948 might possibly mark the 50th anniversary of Jacobsen born 1898?) Oceanh (talk) 22:47, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think you are right. I added that part because in the Aftenposten, it says that the courier hailed from Tistedalen, and the father of 1876 one also hailed from Tistedalen. But I think you're right. Geschichte (talk) 11:25, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
