Merging?
editShouldn't this page be merged with Life and Death? They're essentially the same thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.54.213.67 (talk) 19:08, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Tsumego is a particular exercise within the world of Go. Life and Death is an overarching concept of Go.--Westwind273 (talk) 07:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Appropriate Links
editI have added a link to goproblems.com, which I believe is the most popular English-language website for free Go problems. If someone feels this is wrong, this is the place to discuss it. I fail to see how goproblems.com is inappropriate, yet the other links listed are appropriate. Please explain. --Westwind273 (talk) 18:17, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- A very large proportion of the goproblems.com problems are user-submitted, and the quality is very uneven. The most popular website for free Go problems is undoubtedly tsumego.tasuki.org, which distributes the problems from famous collections in pdf format. Under US copyright law this is legal (puzzles cannot be copyrighted, only solutions and commentary), but it might be problematic in some countries. IANAL. I would be in favor of removing goproblems, though. 69.211.8.73 (talk) 08:06, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
